A corporate WordPress website for a quantity surveying firm in Mauritius

A long-established quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy in Mauritius needed a corporate website that presents its services and projects clearly to developers, architects and contractors. Artover designed and built the site on WordPress, and hosts and maintains it.

The client

The client is an RICS regulated quantity surveying and construction cost consultancy in Mauritius, established in 1998, with a team of Chartered Surveyors working across the local and regional construction and civil engineering industry.

Its services cover the whole life of a project: pre-feasibility studies, procurement, cost management, contract cost control and contract cost advice, with a stated focus on sustainability.

The problem

A cost consultancy is chosen by developers, architects and contractors who expect precision and credibility. The website has to present a specialist, technical service clearly, and hold up on the phones and laptops those professionals actually use.

The firm needed a corporate site that organised its range of services, showed its project experience and supported recruitment, on a platform its own team could keep up to date.

What they needed

  • A clear structure for a technical service: home, about, services, portfolio, careers, contact
  • A services section that explains each cost-consultancy discipline in plain terms
  • A project portfolio that shows the firm’s construction experience
  • A careers page to support recruitment
  • A platform the team can edit, on reliable hosting with maintenance
  • Sound on-page SEO so the firm is found for its services in Mauritius

What we built

The site is built on WordPress with Elementor, so the firm’s team can update content without touching code. The home page opens on a Slider Revolution hero that sets a professional tone, then leads into the firm’s positioning, its services and a call to view the portfolio.

The six service areas (pre-feasibility studies, procurement, cost management, contract cost control, contract cost advice and the sustainability philosophy) each get a clear explanation, so a prospective client can see exactly what the firm does at every stage of a project.

An About page presents the firm’s history and team, a Portfolio shows its projects, and a Careers page supports hiring. Artover set up the on-page SEO at build time, and hosts and maintains the site with updates and backups.

Challenges we solved

A technical service made clear

Quantity surveying spans pre-feasibility to final account. Each discipline is given its own plain-language explanation, so developers and architects can see where the firm adds value across a project.

Credible on every screen

The audience browses on phones between site visits and on laptops in the office. The layout and the hero slider are built to stay fast and readable on both.

A site the team can run

Built on WordPress with Elementor and kept on maintained hosting, so the firm can update its services, projects and vacancies itself while Artover looks after updates and backups.

The result

The firm has a professional corporate website that presents its services, project experience and vacancies, that its own team can keep current, and that Artover hosts and maintains.
