Most businesses in Mauritius start with the free WhatsApp Business app. Automation needs the WhatsApp Business Platform, the official API from Meta.
Already using the WhatsApp Business app? Your number can often be connected to the Platform while you keep the app on your phone (Meta calls this coexistence). We check what applies to you before setup.
Read our guide to WhatsApp Business in Mauritius: setup, templates, Meta pricing and coexistence →Instead of customers waiting for someone to answer every message, an AI assistant handles common questions at any hour and hands the conversation to a person when it should. It answers from your own information (your services, policies, products and FAQs), not from the internet.
What the assistant does, what it may say and when it hands over is decided with you. The assistant can reply in English, French and Kreol Morisien.
How our AI customer service agents work across web chat, Messenger and WhatsApp →WhatsApp works best when it is not a separate island. We build the integration around your existing tools, so a message can create a booking, update an order or add a lead, and events in your systems can send the right message.
WhatsApp only allows businesses to message customers who agreed to hear from them, and the Data Protection Act 2017 asks for the same care with personal data. We build that in from the start:
Artover’s in-house assistant sends invoices, payment reminders and receipts through the WhatsApp Business Platform, using approved message templates, with a person approving every message. The same approach goes into the automations we build for clients.
How Artover sends its own invoices on WhatsApp →Flows and integrations are built for your process, not squeezed into a generic chatbot template.
We build websites, WordPress and WooCommerce stores, so we know where the data lives.
Booking systems, CRMs, POS and custom databases, connected properly rather than copy-pasted.
Rules, languages, opening hours and hand-over designed with your team.
We monitor, update templates and improve the flows after launch.

Estimated rates: about $0.023 per AI reply. On WhatsApp, beyond 1,000 replies a month per number, WhatsApp adds $0.009 per reply; messages you send first cost $0.009 per reminder or update and $0.07 per promotion. Messenger and Instagram add nothing to the AI reply. Estimate only. Actual charges depend on the length of each AI reply and on the country of the customer you message.

It means using the official WhatsApp Business Platform to answer and send messages automatically (replies to common questions, booking reminders, order updates, follow-ups), connected to your own systems, with your team able to step in at any time.
The WhatsApp Business app is a free app for answering customers by hand. The WhatsApp Business Platform, often called the WhatsApp Business API, lets software send and answer messages: automation, AI chatbots, several team members on one number and connections to your website, store, booking system or CRM. Automation needs the Platform.
A WhatsApp chatbot answers customers automatically on your WhatsApp number. It can follow fixed steps (choose a service, pick a time) or use AI to understand free-text questions and answer from your own information. Ours hand the conversation to a person whenever needed.
Yes. Your website can send WhatsApp messages when something happens (a form submitted, a booking made, an order placed), and a WhatsApp button can start a conversation that the automation handles.
Yes, if the booking system offers an API or webhooks, which most modern ones do. If it doesn’t, we can build a simple booking flow directly in WhatsApp and a calendar behind it.
Yes. Reminders are sent at the times you choose using message templates approved by WhatsApp, which is required for messages sent to customers who haven’t written to you in the last 24 hours.
Yes. Order confirmations, payment and delivery updates can be triggered from WooCommerce, and customers can ask about their order status on WhatsApp.
Yes. An AI assistant can answer from your own information, qualify leads and help with bookings. We decide with you what it can answer and when it must hand over to a person.
Yes. It can reply in English, French and Kreol Morisien, following the language the customer writes in.
Always. The automation can hand over when the customer asks, when the question is outside its scope, or at any time your team decides to reply.
Yes, any CRM with an API, such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or Odoo, or your own customer database. New leads and conversations can be saved automatically.
Not necessarily. An existing WhatsApp Business app number can often be connected to the platform while you keep using the app. Otherwise we set up a dedicated number. We check what applies to you during setup.
Yes. WhatsApp requires customers to agree to receive messages from your business before you send them templates such as reminders or promotions, and the Data Protection Act 2017 applies to the personal data involved. We add the opt-in to your forms or first conversation and keep a record of it.
Yes, to customers who agreed to receive them, using marketing templates approved by Meta. Meta charges per delivered marketing message and may limit how many a person receives, so we keep promotions relevant and separate from booking and order messages.
Artover Chat costs $9 a month. You also top up a Usage Wallet, from $5, that pays for AI replies and WhatsApp messages as you use them. Use the price simulator on this page to estimate your month. Custom integrations are quoted separately after a free discovery call.
Yes. We monitor the automation, update message templates and flows, keep integrations working and improve the AI’s knowledge as your business changes.
