The client
The client is developing a premium seaweed biostimulant made from fresh Ecklonia maxima, the sea bamboo harvested along South Africa’s coast, to support root growth, crop resilience and yield for sustainable farming.
Its purpose goes beyond the product: organic solutions for growers, support for small-scale coastal harvesters, and protection of marine ecosystems.
The problem
A biostimulant still in development is sold on credibility and story long before a grower can buy it. The website has to explain what the product is, where it comes from and why it works, to an audience that is practical and sceptical.
The brand needed a site that presents the product, the science and the purpose clearly, reads well for farmers, and can grow a library of resources for growers over time.
What they needed
- A clear brand site: home, about, the product, resources, contact
- A product page that explains the biostimulant and its sourcing in plain terms
- An About and purpose story, including the people behind the brand
- A resources and insights section for growers that can grow over time
- Content written for a practical farming audience
- On-page SEO from the start so the brand can be found
What we built
The site is built on WordPress with Elementor, so the team can update it as the product moves from development to market. The home page sets the ocean-to-field story, then leads into who the brand is, the product and its purpose.
A dedicated product page explains the biostimulant, its Ecklonia maxima source and what it aims to do for crops, in plain language for growers. An About section tells the brand’s story and introduces the team, and a Kelp Currents section holds insights and resources that can grow into a library for growers.
Artover wrote the site’s content for a practical farming audience and set up the on-page SEO, with Google Site Kit in place, so the brand starts out findable.

Challenges we solved
A product you cannot buy yet
The biostimulant is still in development, so the site sells trust and story, not a checkout. The content leads with the science, the sourcing and the purpose, so growers believe in it before it ships.
Plain words for a practical audience
Farmers judge claims quickly. The product and the science are explained in short, concrete language, without marketing fog.
Room to grow
The resources section is built to fill up over time, so the brand can keep publishing for growers as the product moves to market.
The result
The brand has a clear website that tells its ocean-to-field story, explains the biostimulant and its purpose to growers, and is set up to grow a library of resources as the product reaches the market.
