A brand identity and online store for a home and lifestyle shop in Mauritius

The client is a Mauritian online shop for the home: bedding, kitchenware, tableware, decor and products for children. Artover created its identity, from the logo to the business cards, and built the online store that sells its range across the island.

The work

The client

The shop sells everyday products for the home to Mauritian households: duvets, duvet covers, sheets and quilts, kitchenware and cutlery, tea and coffee sets, home decor, upholstery and a range for children.

The children’s range includes Mochou, a registered trademark of plush toys designed and made locally, and a wellness range with weighted blankets, lap blankets and visual timers.

The problem

A shop that sells bedding, tableware and toys needs a brand that feels warm and friendly, not like a hardware catalogue. The shop’s name already said it: a term of affection. The identity had to carry that feeling everywhere.

The business also needed to sell online, with a catalogue broad enough to cover the whole home and an ordering process that suits Mauritian customers.

What they needed

  • A logo as friendly as the name
  • Business cards in the same identity
  • An online shop organised by room and by product type
  • Ordering that suits local habits, with pay on delivery
  • A site the team can update with new collections and events

What we built

The logo is a heart inside a speech bubble in soft teal and warm brown, with a hand-drawn lowercase wordmark and the tagline “Bringing joy to everyday life”. It reads like a kind word from a friend, which is exactly what the name means.

The business card carries the logo and tagline on a clean white side, so the brand stays light and recognisable in print.

The store runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, designed in Elementor on a lifestyle shop theme. Products are organised in clear categories (bedding, kitchenware, tableware, home decor, kids, wellness, upholstery and a clearance sale) and in collections such as Everly. A slider on the home page presents each range, and a banner under it states the two things local shoppers look for first: pay on delivery and free delivery.

Customers can create an account, search the catalogue and browse by category. FAQs, an Events page, a contact form and an Instagram feed keep the shop close to its community.

Challenges we solved

A warm brand for everyday products

Duvets and cutlery are not emotional products on their own. The heart, the speech bubble and the hand-drawn letters give the shop a personality customers remember.

A wide catalogue, easy to browse

From weighted blankets to teapots, the range is broad. Categories follow the way people shop for their home, with sub-categories for each product type.

Trust for first-time online buyers

Pay on delivery and free delivery are shown right under the hero, so customers see from the first screen that ordering is simple and safe.

The result

The shop has one friendly identity across its business cards and its online store, and a WooCommerce shop that presents its whole range for the home to customers across Mauritius.
